About Me

Life is good and I am definitely enjoying the journey.

I have a passion to stay in solid shape lately. Gotta have that endurance for long days behind the lens! Other than that, I enjoy sports and a solid Old Fashioned from time to time. I'm all about the good times!

FAQ

What is your photo style?

As a self-taught photographer, I would call my style "candidly creative"!

I try to a create an awesome blend of wedding photography that specializes in a photojournalistic (candid) approach to your day. Although I always try to find the time to get those "creative portraits" around sunset that embrace the fine-art concepts of photography.

I love to use creative lighting, crazy, angles, perspectives, and my surrounds to enhance each image from your wedding day!

Will there be a second shooter?

A second photographer can be had for an additional cost.
A few packages have a second photographer already built into the investment for a pre-determined about of time.

The second photographer is responsible for some time with the groom and his guys, details as they are set, providing a second angle on the ceremony and some time at cocktail hour.

Should I provide a shot list?

There is no need to provide a shot list of the day. I do my best to cover as many details of the wedding day from start to finish. While not every single moment may be captured, I definitely work to get the lion's share!

The only list I will ask for is your list of family group shots. This is essential if you want it a particular way. Otherwise I will take the reins and just stick with immediate family including grandparents.

Keep in mind the longer the family group lists the longer it will rake to after the ceremony.

How many images in a final collection?

Typically a wedding day of 8 hours can yield anywhere from 60-90 images per hour.

It all depends on the flow of the day coupled with the amount of events throughout.

When will we see the pics?

I always try to deliver you an adequate preview within a couple of weeks!

Every situation is different but it's always my goal to get you your wedding collection within 8-12 weeks. It depends on the season and workload ahead of each big day.

Do you deliver ALL images?

Simply put --- No.

I do try to deliver as many images to you as possible but I have to sort through and remove the missed focus shots, the tests, the duplicate - triplicates shots, and other images that are necessary to create the awesome ones.
That said, I will always deliver images that may not make sense to me but the people in it or the emotion in it may mean the world to you!

Delivering the best images to maximize the memories of your wedding day is my goal!

Do I have to order prints through you?

Not at all.

You have the right to reprint images whenever and wherever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of PGLPhotography.

I can also create a package for you that will include some prints or add print packages to your investment.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Always down to travel. Shoot me a message and we can discuss the details.
